  1. MICROSOFT WINDOWS DRIVER LIBRARY

  3. MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSE

  6. 1.     GRANT OF LICENSE.  Microsoft grants to you the right
  7.         to use and to reproduce and distribute all or a 
  8.         portion of the Windows Driver Library  ("Software") 
  9.         provided that (i) the Software is not distributed 
  10.         for profit; (ii) the Software is used only in 
  11.         conjunction with licensed copies of  Microsoft Windows 
  12.         3.xx products; (iii) the Software may NOT be modified; 
  13.         (iv) all copyright notices are maintained on the 
  14.         Software; and (v) the licensee/end user agrees to be
  15.         bound by the terms of this Agreement.

  17. 2.    COPYRIGHT.  The Software is owned by Microsoft or its
  18.         suppliers and is protected by United States copyright
  19.         laws and international treaty provisions. You may not 
  20.         remove the copyright notice from any copy of the 
  21.         Software or any copy of the written materials, if any, 
  22.         accompanying the Software.

  24. 3.    OTHER RESTRICTIONS.  This Microsoft License Agreement
  25.         is your proof of license to exercise the rights granted
  26.         herein and must be retained by you.  You may not rent
  27.         or lease the Software.  You may not reverse engineer, 
  28.         decompile or disassemble the Software.
  29.  
  30.     NO WARRANTY.  ANY USE BY YOU OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR
  31.         OWN RISK.  THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE ONLY WITH 
  32.         MICROSOFT WINDOWS 3.XX AND RELATED SOFTWARE.  THE 
  33.         SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY 
  34.         OF ANY KIND.  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 
  35.         MICROSOFT AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES 
  36.         OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, 
  37.         WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF 
  38.         MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. 
  39.         MICROSOFT IS NOT OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE ANY UPDATES TO 
  40.         THE SOFTWARE.
  41.  
  42.     NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  In no event 
  43.         shall Microsoft or its suppliers be liable for any 
  44.         damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, 
  45.         incidental, direct, indirect special and 
  46.         consequential damages, damages for loss of business 
  47.         profits, business interruption, loss of business 
  48.         information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out 
  49.         of the use or inability to use this Microsoft 
  50.         product, even if Microsoft has been advised of the 
  51.         possibility of such damages.  Because some states/
  52.         countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation 
  53.         of liability for consequential or incidental damages,
  54.         the above limitation may not apply to you.
  55.  
  56.     INDEMNIFICATION BY YOU.  If you distribute the 
  57.         Software in violation of this Agreement, you agree 
  58.         to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Microsoft and 
  59.         its suppliers from and against any claims or lawsuits, 
  60.         including attorney's fees that arise or result from 
  61.         the use or distribution of the Software in violation 
  62.         of this Agreement.

  64. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  65.  
  66. The Software and documentation are provided with RESTRICTED 
  67. RIGHTS.  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the Government 
  68. is subject to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph 
  69. (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical Data and Computer 
  70. Software clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs 
  71. (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial Computer Software - 
  72. Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as applicable.  
  73. Manufacturer is Microsoft Corporation/One Microsoft 
  74. Way/Redmond, WA  98052-6399.

  76. If you acquired this product in the United States, this 
  77. Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
